Profile Ralf. A. Huber
Ralf A. Huber works as an independent business consultant with a focus on 2nd line-of-defense, especially decision-oriented risk management. Previously, as Senior Vice President Corporate Risk & Insurance and Chief Risk & Internal Control Officer at LEONI AG in Nuremberg, he was responsible for the risk management system, the internal control system and the insurance management that covers all LEONI Group companies worldwide. He studied business administration and computer science at the Administration and Business Academy in Nuremberg. After beginning his career at Robert Bosch GmbH, he moved to LEONI AG in 1990, where he was able to gain international experience with responsibility for the global supply chain and procurement for the company’s wiring systems division. Further stations were the site management of LEONI AG in Nuremberg and the responsibility for compliance and information security. In addition to his 16 years of professional experience, he has been active in risk management since 2004 as a speaker at specialist conferences and seminars, soon afterwards also as an advisory board member of the "Risk Management in the Automotive Industry" working group at Funk Consulting GmbH / Bayern Innovativ. For six years now, he has been part of the Funk Foundation’s board of trustees as well, where he specializes in risk research.
